Biographie
Karel Lamač débute au cinéma pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Acteur, réalisateur et producteur, il fonde Ondra-Lamac-Film avec Anny Ondra et poursuit sa carrière en France, Allemagne et États-Unis après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il est aussi connu sous les noms de Carl Lamac, ou Charles Lamac.
