En 2005, il a réalisé l'adaptation animée de "Kamichu", qui a remporté le prix d' excellence au Japan Media Arts Festival 2005 . En 2012, il a réalisé l'adaptation animée de "Magi : Le labyrinthe de la magie" , qui a été classée par l'IGN comme l'un des meilleurs anime des années 2010.
